Setting Up an Anti-Phishing Code
I. What is an Anti-Phishing Code?
An anti-phishing code is a string of characters set by the user to help identify fake MEXC websites or emails. If the anti-phishing code is set but the email from MEXC did not show this code, you may have received a phishing email.
II. How to Set Anti-Phishing Code on the Website?
1. Click on the user icon - [Security] - [Anti-Phishing Code]
2. After entering the anti-phishing code page, enter a code consisting of 1 to 6 characters (without special characters). Please do not set a common password as your anti-phishing code.
3. After setting the anti-phishing code, all emails sent by MEXC will display the anti-phishing code.
III. How to Set Anti-Phishing Code on the App?
1. Click on the user icon on the top left-hand corner - [Security]
2. Click [Anti-Phishing Code] to enter the setting page.
3. After successfully setting the anti-phishing code, all emails received by the user from the official MEXC platform will have the anti-phishing code attached. If it is not displayed or incorrectly displayed, you may have received a phishing email.
