Kickstarter Campaign FAQ [Updated 2024-09-06]
1. What is Kickstarter?
The Kickstarter event is a vote-to-list event initiated by the project team during the project's pre-launch phase, where they distribute free project tokens to all participating voters. The purpose of this event is to attract more high-quality projects to launch on the platform and provide additional airdrop benefits to platform users.
2. How to participate in Kickstarter?
To participate in the event, users must first log in to their MEXC account. On the MEXC website, users can click on [Spot] - [Kickstarter] in the navigation bar and vote for the projects using MX Tokens to receive free airdrop rewards. On the MEXC App, users can tap on the [Kickstarter] icon on the homepage to access the event page and vote using MX Tokens.
3. What is the snapshot mechanism in the Kickstarter event?
The system takes 3 snapshots at random times each day. In order to become eligible to participate in the Kickstarter event, users must hold a minimum position of at least 1,000 MX in their spot account for 24 consecutive hours by 15:59 (UTC) of the day before the commitment stage starts. If your MX position snapshot value on any day during the 24 consecutive hours is below 1,000 MX, you might lose your eligibility to participate in the Kickstarter event.
4. Which token will I receive as my airdrop reward?
The reward for participating in voting will be in the form of the token associated with the project that initiated the vote-to-list event or USDT. Please refer to the announcement of each event for specific information about the airdrop rewards.
5. Are there any fees required for participating in the Kickstarter event?
MEXC will not collect any fees from users for participating in the Kickstarter event.
6. Will my tokens used for voting be frozen?
After participating in voting and committing MX, the tokens will only be used for reward calculation and will not be frozen. This means that you can also participate in other ongoing Kickstarter and Launchpad events at the same time.
7. When will the airdrop rewards be distributed?
We will distribute the corresponding airdrop rewards to the spot account of participating users according to the event rules within 1 hour after the end of the event. For any updates or changes, please stay tuned to the announcements regarding event launches and any follow-up notifications.
8. How can I access my Kickstarter event reward history?
Users can access the reward history on the Kickstarter event page. On the website, users can click on [Reward History].
