Announcement on MEXC Spot System Upgrade (December 13)

Dear MEXCers,
To enhance the user experience, MEXC will perform a Spot system upgrade. Details are as follows:
Upgrade Time:
  • 2024-12-13 20:00 - 21:30 (UTC)
Impact During the Upgrade:
  • Deposits & Withdrawals: Temporarily unavailable for 1 hour.
  • Spot Trading: Open orders, order history, and frozen asset queries may fail or show inaccuracies.
  • Placing, canceling, or executing Spot orders, as well as asset transfers, may fail.
  • The MX Deduction feature for Spot trading may not be available.
  • Functions such as login, sign up, verification code submission and validation, checking user login status, password recovery, KYC submission, security verification modifications, security verification recovery, sub-account creation/modification, and nickname updates may not work.
  • P2P processes such as placing orders, payments, releasing tokens, cancellations, and appeals may fail. P2P advertisements (creation, editing, listing, delisting, deletion) may also encounter issues.
  • Third-party fiat purchases will be closed. Legend Trading pairs will be closed for 1 hour.
  • Fiat services for EUR deposits, withdrawals, account linking and order placement, including linking and order placements for global bank transfers and credit cards, may experience failures or delays in card linking and order processing.
  • Fiat K-line data may be unavailable or delayed, and fiat account transfer operations may encounter errors or delays.
For services other than deposits, withdrawals, and those related to Legend Trading pairs, disruptions are generally expected to last no longer than 5 minutes. If you encounter issues, we recommend retrying after 5 minutes.

Important Notes:
  • Please rest assured that all users' assets are secure during the upgrade.
  • Please make your financial arrangements in advance to avoid risks caused by market fluctuations during the upgrade.
  • The system upgrade time is an estimated duration and may differ from the actual time required.
  • If there is significant market volatility before the upgrade, the platform may delay the upgrade time based on market conditions and issue an announcement.
  • Affected services will return to normal once the upgrade is complete, and a follow-up announcement will be issued.
