MEXC Will Lower Maximum Leverage Multiplier and Position Limit for Selected USDT-M Futures Trading Pairs (October 2)


Dear MEXCers,

In order to provide you with a better trading experience, MEXC Futures will adjust the maximum leverage multiplier and position limit for the following USDT-M futures trading pairs on October 2, 2023, at 11:00 (UTC). Please refer to the new leverage and position limit and adjust your positions and unfilled orders accordingly.

Important Notes:

  • Please note that the maximum leverage multiplier and position limit for the aforementioned futures trading pair may be further adjusted without prior notice. Please refer to Futures Information for the latest data.

  • The closing PNL is related to the closing quantity, the average position price, and the closing price. Adjusting the leverage multiplier will not affect your closing PNL.

  • After the adjustment, positions that exceed the new maximum leverage multiplier can be closed, but you will not be able to add to them. Please modify your positions to fall within the new supported leverage range to resume normal trading.

  • After the adjustment, positions that exceed the new position limit can be closed, but you will not be able to add to them.

  • If you have limit orders that exceed the new maximum leverage limit, they can still be filled. However, you will not be able to place new orders. We recommend that you cancel these orders and modify them to fall within the new supported leverage range to resume normal trading.

  • For any trigger orders and trailing stop orders that exceed the new maximum leverage limit, they will not be filled if triggered. We recommend that you cancel these orders and modify them to fall within the new supported leverage range.

  • If the aforementioned trading pair is available in Futures Copy Trade, the corresponding maximum leverage multiplier will also be adjusted accordingly.

  • If you have set a fixed leverage multiplier for your copy trades, and the set leverage exceeds the new maximum leverage multiplier, your orders will not be filled. Please manually modify the leverage multiplier in Copy Trade settings to fall within the new supported leverage range.
