Why You Should Complete KYC Verification
KYC (Know Your Customer) Verification, helps protect your account and asset security. It effectively reduces risks such as fraud, corruption, and money laundering. Additionally, if you accidentally lose your account password or security credentials, KYC information can assist you in quickly recovering your account.
Depending on your region or the designated payment channels, you may need to complete further identity verification to enhance account security. For more details, read [Why is KYC Verification Necessary?].
Without completing KYCVerification, you will be unable to use certain features on MEXC.
1. Where Do I Find KYC Verification?
You can click on the [User Icon] > [Identification] to access the KYC verification page. On this page, you can view your current verification level and withdrawal limit on MEXC. If you wish to increase your limit, you can complete different levels of KYC verification as needed.
2. How Do I Complete KYC Verification?
Follow these steps to complete your Primary KYC verification. For advanced verification, read [How to Perform Advanced KYC].
Website - Primary KYC:
First, log in to your MEXC account, then click on the [User Icon] in the top right corner and select [Identification].
Here, you can see the different verification levels: Primary KYC, Advanced KYC, and Institutional KYC. You can also view the withdrawal limits for each verification level.
Choose [Verify Via Web] or [Verify Via App] to verify your individual account. The following example will show you how to [Verify Via Web]:
Select your country/region as per the instructions, enter your document type, and upload a photo of your personal identification document (some countries only support photo uploads). Please ensure that all the information you enter matches your identification document.
Take and upload photos of your [ID Card (Front)] and [ID Card (Back)]. Please ensure that the photos are clear, with no glare, and that all four corners of the document are visible. Once the information is confirmed to be correct, select [Submit for Review].
After completing the above steps, the page will display a message saying [Submitted successfully. The review is expected to be completed within 24 hours. Please be patient.] MEXC will review your application promptly. Once the review process is complete, we will notify you of the result via email, SMS, and in-site messages.
App - Primary KYC:
1) Log in to your MEXC account, tap [Home] > [User Icon] in the top left corner > [Unverified].
2) Select the verification method you wish to use and tap [Verify]. Follow the steps below to see how to perform Primary KYC verification.
3) Select your [ID Issuing Country/Region] and [ID Type] - [Next].
4) Upload your [ID Photo], ensuring that the photo is clear, all four corners of the document are visible, and there is no glare. After successfully uploading, confirm the information is correct and click [Submit].
MEXC will review your application immediately. Once the review process is complete, we will notify you of the result via email, SMS, and in-site messages.
